Research from the Life Science Compliance Forum (LSCF) found that the UK is spending more on technology than firms across the pond. The LSCF found that 72 per cent of British life science firms are using tech to keep up with regulation, while a recent study from Gartner found that 46 per cent of US firms are doing the same. Those life sciences firms turning to tech to help keep them on the right side of regulation said they experienced better cost control and better data management, the vendor coalition found. Compliance still appears a bit of a minefield for those in the pharmaceutical and related industries - 47 per cent of the life sciences companies surveyed said they will turn to outsourcing to get their compliance needs fulfilled.
